Over the last five years, I’ve heard the same story again and again after Web Summit. The event was fantastic. So many new connections. And Lisbon? A beautiful city — but there was never time to see it. Everyone was rushing from one thing to the next.
That stayed with me. A trip full of introductions shouldn’t leave you with barely a moment to enjoy the place you’ve travelled to. And seeing Lisbon shouldn’t mean choosing between the city and the conversations you came for.
That’s why I created Founders Tuk & Talk: to make room for both. A shared ride where founders can keep the conversation going as Lisbon unfolds around them. Or a private tuk for a little time with your own people. Not another thing to rush through — a chance to slow down, look around and make the city part of your trip.

From founders for founders isn't just our slogan. It's David's CV. For more than 15 years he has started companies, opened new markets and grown sales teams in Germany, Brazil and Portugal.
He knows both sides of the table: what it's like to pitch for funding, and what investors look for when deciding who to back. After years of conferences he noticed the real connections happen between sessions, not on stage. Founders Tuk & Talk turns that in-between time into the best part of Web Summit.
Today David lives in Lisbon, where he runs Sail your Life and Atlântico Agency and mentors entrepreneurs. For shared founder rides, he collects guests’ stage, sector and interests to shape groups where possible — without promising a match.
